Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar AliyevThe Qatari embassy in Azerbaijan has commented on media reports claiming the transportation of weapons to Armenia by Qatar Airways.
The embassy told Report that the Qatar-Azerbaijan relations established under the leadership of the two heads of state are based on the principles of mutual respect and esteem, common interests, strengthening peace and international security:
"These ties are strong and stand out in the political arena.Recently, even the dissemination of inaccurate information by some electronic media, which does not deserve a direct response, will not affect the strong ties between the two countries. Qatar Airways is one of the world's leading airlines. It operates professionally, under the rules of international civil aviation agreements (including the Chicago Convention). The airline has played a crucial role in the repatriation of tens of thousands of helpless passengers internationally when many of its competitors have been shut down connected with the coronavirus pandemic. The embassy hopes that some online media outlets will be professional and impartial in their work, providing purposeful and fact-based news. It will be more beneficial and in the interests of states and peoples."
