Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar AliyevCanada will extend its restrictions for all travelers entering the country, except the United States, until January 21, the government said on Sunday (November 29), in a move to limit the spread of Covid-19, Report says.
Restrictions for US citizens and foreign nationals arriving from the United States will continue until December 21 and may be extended at that time, Health Minister Patty Hajdu said in a statement.
The country introduced such a measure on March 16 due to the coronavirus epidemic. It does not apply to US citizens and permanent residents of Canada. Exceptions also include diplomats, immediate family members of Canadians, and specific categories of seasonal workers and international students.
According to the latest data, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 370 thousand in the country. More than ten patients died, while more than 294 thousand patients have recovered.
