Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar Aliyev
"The Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Center, which will monitor the ceasefire in Karabakh, will be located in Agdam. The construction of the center continues. Our general and other employees are ready to go there," Report quotes Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.
"Also, we have sent two mine-clearing and demining personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces for training and inspecting the area. The ceasefire is generally observed in Karabakh. The Russians are careful in this regard. We are watching the events, "he said.
Akar stressed that Armenians remain in a part of Karabakh: "The Russians claim that if a Turkish soldier steps into an area inhabited by Armenians, there will be a problem. The deployment of Turkish troops in Karabakh is an issue to be resolved between Turkey and Azerbaijan."
