Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar AliyevThe 2021 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held in Baku without fans, head of the public relations department of the Baku City Circuit Operations Company Ayan Aghayeva said, Report informs.
She noted that this decision was made in connection with Azerbaijan’s commitments to the Formula 1 company and to demonstrate the country’s tourism potential even after the pandemic.
The Baku City Circuit representative added that by the end of March, the barriers will be installed on the track, and construction will be completed in May.
‘The track will be divided into red, yellow, and green zones. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be organized under certain restrictions due to the COVID pandemic,’ she added.
The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is expected to be held in Baku June 4-6.
