Report informs, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), that this is 13 properties or 14.4% less than in February 2020.
From January through February 2021, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 145 housing properties in Turkey, 44 properties, or 23.3% less than in the first two months of 2020.
In February 2021, 2,995 real estate properties were sold to foreign nationals in Turkey, which is 1,053 properties or 26% less than in February 2020.
Iranian nationals ranked first in buying housing in Turkey.
In February, Iranian citizens bought 477 real estate properties in Turkey. From January through February, Iranian nationals purchased a total of 936 properties across Turkey.
Iraqi nationals followed Iranians as they purchased 432 housing properties in Turkey in February 2021. The number of properties they bought in Turkey during the first two months of 2021 reached 817.
From January through February, Russians bought 519 real estate properties in Turkey and thus, rounded up the top three.
