Ukraine Foreign Ministry names priorities for cooperation development with Azerbaijan this year
Despite the difficult situation related to the COVID pandemic, every effort will be made this year to further develop strategic cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, which is based on trust and mutual respect, the press service of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry told Report.
“Traditionally, friendly interaction has been developing between the two states, and we need to work even more on the bilateral agenda. The main thing for today is the continuation of an active political dialogue and the deepening of trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and regional cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan,” the Foreign Ministry said.
First of all, visits of Ukrainian officials to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani officials to Ukraine, contacts at the parliamentary level, as well as active cooperation of experts at the state and business levels will be able to contribute to the implementation of these goals, according to the ministry.
“Ensuring interaction between Ukraine and Azerbaijan in the spheres of energy, aviation, space, military-technical cooperation, the implementation of existing and the start of new promising projects are priority areas for the development of our bilateral relations for 2021,” the ministry noted.
