Civil Service awards Report’s employees

The State Service for Mobilization and Conscription held an event on the occasion of the National Press Day with the participation of various media outlets and journalists dispatched to the frontline as part of the mobilization in the Great Patriotic War.

Report informs that First Deputy Chief of the Service, Major General Zaur Abdullayev, congratulated journalists and spoke about the development stages of the national press.

Under the glorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Army liberated Azerbaijan's occupied territories during the 44-day Patriotic War, which is written in golden letters in Azerbaijan's military history.

The event participants stressed that reports prepared by journalists from the war zones during the military operations that conveyed the essence of Armenian terrorism to the international community contributed to strengthening Azerbaijan's position in the information war.

Abdullayev said there was always cooperation between the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription and the media and wished success to the press workers in their honorable and difficult activities to develop independent Azerbaijan.

Notably, journalists working in the frontline, those who served as fighters in the Patriotic War, media representatives closely cooperating with the Service, military bloggers were awarded diplomas, honorary diplomas, and plaques "for services in the promotion of military patriotism" by the relevant order of the Chief of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, Colonel-General Arzu Rahimov. Besides, martyred journalists Abishov Siraj Abish and Ibrahimov Maharram Ali were awarded the medal "For services in the education of military patriotism."

Report employees Mirsaid Bayramov (Said Garib) and Sabuhi Mammadov are also among awarded journalists.
