Azerbaijani FM meets with Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly

On July 28, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Pakistan's National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Report informs.

During the meeting, the Speaker of the Pakistani Parliament conveyed his congratulations on the victory in Karabakh.

It is a point of honor for us to support Azerbaijan. We believe that our relations will be stronger and closer in the future. The Baku Declaration has opened a new way for the development of our relations in many areas. I believe that we will make innovations, especially in the fields of education and energy. "Azerbaijan has always been a native country for us, and it will always continue in such a way."

Bayramov noted that after the signing of the Declaration, a new stage begins in our relations. We are confident that the Islamabad and Baku declarations will further strengthen our relations. Azerbaijan has always felt the support of Pakistan, and this is a source of pride. Pakistan has provided moral assistance to Azerbaijan in liberating its territories from occupation.
