Putin discusses situation on Azerbaijani-Armenian border with Russian Security Council members

Russian President Vladimir Putin has held an operative session with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council, Report's Russian bureau informs, citing Putin's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.

"During the session, the participants discussed the current issues of Russia's socio-economic development. In addition, they also touched upon the relevant issues on international agenda, including the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border," Peskov said.

The Kremlin official noted that the session was attended by Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, deputy chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, head of the Kremlin's administration Anton Bayno, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolay Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, FSS chief Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin, President's Special Representative Sergey Ivanov.
