The Minister of Forestry and Agriculture, Bekir Pakdemirli, tweeted that five fires were continuing in the tourist destinations of Antalya and Mugla.
The authorities failed to prevent fires in Marmaris, Koycegiz, Milas, Kavaklidere, and Seyidkemer districts of Mugla, Hozat districts of Tunceli, Manavgat, and Gundogmus districts of Antalya.
By the information, 119 others have been brought under control.
According to the minister, the fire-extinguishing team in Mugla includes four planes, a drone, 17 helicopters, 186 water mist extinguishers, 93 firefighting vehicles, 414 cars, 55 ambulances, and 1,457 firefighters.
The death toll from the fires has risen to eight.
