Azerbaijani journalists receive training on hand-to-hand fighting in Ankara 

Training on "Military Journalism," jointly organized by Anadolu Agency, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Turkish National Police Academy, and the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA), continue in Ankara, Turkey.

Report informs that the participants received visual and practical training on hand-to-hand combat in the war at the Turkish Police Academy.

Note that 24 Azerbaijani journalists are attending the training.

The training, which will last until August 20, will provide information to participants on journalism, personal security, war law, first aid, rules of conduct during the war, survival in water, protection against chemical and biological weapons, etc. About 60 percent of the lessons are practical and teach journalists how to deal with the challenges and threats in crisis, natural disasters, and war zones. Moreover, the journalists will take part in training in high-risk areas.

Those completing the training program will be awarded the internationally recognized "Military Journalism Certificate."

A journalist from Report Information Agency, Ismayil Nasibli, is also attending the training.
