Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar AliyevAzerbaijan has improved its position in the International Property Right Index-2020.
Report informs that the country rose to 67th place among 129 states, with its index equal 5,348.
Azerbaijan has thus outpaced Georgia, which settled in 73rd place, Armenia (83rd place), Kazakhstan (85th place), Russia (88th place), Ukraine (105th place), and Moldova (111th place). The country is leading in the category of independence of courts, protection of physical property, registration of property, availability of loans, intellectual property protection awareness.
The list is topped by Finland, Switzerland, and Singapore, while Haiti is on the bottom.
The Property Rights Alliance has released the Index since 2007. The figures indicated in the ranking are based on the statistical analysis of the information obtained from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, World Bank, World Trade Organization, and other sources.
