Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar AliyevAzerbaijan's stand at the IDEF-2021 International Defense Industry Fair in Istanbul, Turkey has aroused great interest among exhibitors and visitors.
According to Report's Turkish bureau, the exhibition, which is attended by more than 50 countries and over 1,000 companies, showcases a variety of modern weapons and ammunition, which are examples of local production in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani defense industry products, highly valued by foreign representatives, have been the main topic of cooperation proposals by the management of other foreign companies.
IDEF-2021, which is expected to involve over 1,000 leading companies from more than 50 developed countries, features 133 kinds of defense products manufactured at the enterprises of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Industry, including sniper rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars, unmanned aerial vehicles, ammunition, and others.
The exhibition is being held in Istanbul on August 17-20 under the auspices of the Turkish Presidential Administration and organized by the Ministry of National Defense.
