Latvian President pays respect to National Leader Heydar AliyevKyrgyzstan proposes to revise the charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Secretary of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan, Marat Imankulov, said at a round table, Report informs via 24.kg.
“We are going to raise this issue. It is necessary to introduce a rule so that all problems arising between the CSTO countries are resolved peacefully. If someone hopes to solve problems by force, we suggest expelling them from the organization. It is time for our countries to revise some parts of the CSTO charter to exclude from its composition such parts when the participants would use threats against each other,” Imankulov said.
Shooting began at several sites on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on the morning of September 16. The parties accused each other of launching artillery fire.
