Japan’s Sapporo confirms abandoning bid for 2030 Winter Olympics

The northern Japanese city of Sapporo on Wednesday confirmed its withdrawal from the bid to host the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, Report informs, citing Xinhua.
