The agreements reached between the presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia, and the Prime Minister of Armenia became the basis for ending the conflict that lasted almost 30 years.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council today, Report informs.
The Minister noted that conflicts in the OSCE area continue to damage global security.
Bayramov also noted that " the statement of November 10 also contains an important provision for the return of all internally displaced persons to their homes."
He thanked Russia and Turkey for their contribution to "making these agreements a reality."
According to him, they will serve "long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus region."
The Foreign Minister noted that the process of reintegration of ethnic Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh is still ahead. He stressed that as a result of the integration process, they would be guaranteed equal rights on an equal basis with other Azerbaijani citizens.
Bayramov also stressed that the agreements reached also create new opportunities for cooperation within the region.
