The winner of the US presidential election, Joseph Biden, intends to continue only the Abraham Accords between Israel and the Arab countries and initiatives to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the foreign policy of his predecessor Donald Trump's administration, Report informs, citing Axios.
A new presidential team member said: "Probably, Biden spoke only positively about these issues from Trump's foreign policy initiatives.
According to sources, the signing of new agreements between Israel and Palestine can be used to guide Tel Aviv to the principle of "two states of two nations." However, according to Biden's team, the conditions for a comprehensive settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have not yet been fully developed.
As for the Abraham Accords, it is said that Saudi Arabia may take steps to normalize relations with Israel to prevent "headaches" on human rights during the Biden administration.
