The Taliban grouping that seized power in Afghanistan has set the deadline for the US troops' withdrawal.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that a group representative said the US troops must leave Afghanistan until August 31.
The representative said the Taliban considers this date a red line and notes that the presence of the troops after August 31 will be viewed as occupation and be responded accordingly.
"August 31 is the deadline for the US withdrawal from Afghanistan," the Taliban said in a statement.
