Georgia wants to contribute to the restoration of trust between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at Imedi TV channel, Report informs.
According to him, for the first time in 30 years, a successful precedent has been set with the mediation of Georgia and with the participation of American partners and friends: “Georgia acted as a mediator between friendly and brotherly neighboring countries, which was an example of successful cooperation and mediation.”
The Georgian prime minister noted that this fact was appreciated by the United States and the European Union: “I want Georgia to make a small but valuable contribution to the process of restoring trust between the two countries, which began a few months ago. I will spare no effort in this direction.”
