Georgia's former President Mikheil Saakashvili has sent a letter to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
Report's local bureau informs that he thanked the head of state for the sensitive attitude towards his arrest.
Saakashvili noted that his arrest in Georgia is illegal, and all accusations against him have been falsified.
"I love Georgia more than my life. I also love my second homeland Ukraine. For the rest of my life, I will be proud of having had the opportunity to make some contribution to the historical changes and reforms that you have carried out."
The former president said he is the prisoner of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
