Dutch National News Agency NOS has published an article on Turkey-made unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Report informs, citing CNN Turk, that the article speaks about the growing number of UAVs on the world market.
NOS correspondent, who attended the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST-2021 held at Atatürk Airport in September, shared his impressions with the Dutch.
According to the agency, Turkey has focused its military industry on the production of UAVs and increased their exports in recent years.
The agency noted that UAVs were also used in the Karabakh conflict: “The drones produced by Baykar Company hit the tanks, armored vehicles, ammunition depots, and air defense systems during the Karabakh war and affected the course of the conflict.”
Emphasizing the successful use of drones in Syria, Libya, and Karabakh, the article said that the number of countries demanding UAVs increases.
