According to official information received from the Istanbul Airport, due to heavy snow, it suspended its operations until 00:00 (GMT+3) on January 26, Report informs.
In this regard, the operation of all scheduled AZAL flights both from Baku to Istanbul and from Istanbul to Baku has been postponed until January 26 afternoon.
“We ask all our passengers to receive updated information at the airline’s call center, AZAL representative office in Istanbul, through the media and on the pages of Azerbaijan Airlines official social media accounts,” AZAL said.

The closure of Istanbul airport due to heavy snowfall has caused a delay in the Baku-Istanbul and Istanbul-Baku flights on January 24 and January 25, Report informs, citing AZAL.
The flights will be carried out in coordination with Istanbul Airport.
Thus, two flights from Baku are currently delayed. Passengers of these flights are scheduled to be transported to Istanbul this evening. The flight will be operated on the airline's largest wide-body aircraft, the Airbus A340.
Two flights from Istanbul Airport to Baku are planned today – in the afternoon and the evening.
Arriving passengers are asked to apply to the office of Azerbaijan Airlines at Istanbul airport. Passengers will be checked in on the nearest Istanbul-Baku flight.
Passengers of these flights can get the updated information at the call center of the airline, AZAL's Istanbul office or through the media.
