The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has issued updated information regarding the situation on the frontline, Report informs.
The ministry noted that Russia's large-scale attack on Ukraine continues.
"The units of the Russian army continue to move from Kursk, Bryansk and Voronezh regions of the Russian Federation to Ukraine. They are facing serious problems with their supplies. The dissatisfaction of the personnel of the units of the Russian Armed Forces located on the line of direct contact is growing, the moral and psychological state remains low. The Russian military complains about the lack of rotation, broken equipment, and the quality of fuel and food. The enemy did not take active action in the direction of Volyn and Polissya. Some units of the Belarusian Armed Forces continue to carry out tasks to protect the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in Brest and Gomel regions. In the direction of Seversky, there is a possibility of missile strikes and artillery fire from the Russian territory on military and civilian infrastructure in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions."
According to official information, there are no changes in the composition and position of the personnel of the Russian army in the Sloboda operation zone.
"The Russian army continues to partially besiege the city of Kharkiv and fire on its settlements. Airstrikes hit Mariupol from the Donetsk and Tavriya operation zones. Russian troops have launched an offensive near the seaport. Units of the 810th and 155th separate Marine Brigades are being prepared for landing naval operations. The information is currently being clarified. Looting and violence against the civilian population continue in the temporarily occupied territories. Over the past day, 10 enemy attacks were repulsed in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Also, 15 tanks, 24 armored vehicles and 3 artillery systems, 1 aircraft, 1 helicopter, 5 UAVs and 6 cruise missiles of Russia were destroyed."
