On the night of September 12 and in the morning of September 13, the Armenian armed forces carried out a large-scale provocation in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar, Lachin and Zangilan directions of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
It was noted that while preventing the large-scale provocation, 50 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces became martyrs, including 42 servicemen of the Azerbaijani army and 8 servicemen of the State Border Service.
The defense ministry expressed its condolences to the families and loved ones of the fallen servicemen.
“Our martyrs didn’t remain unavenged. The public will be presented with a list of servicemen who became martyrs,” the defense ministry added.
