Moldova's decision to declare the Russian diplomat persona non grata testifies to Chisinau's course to dismantle bilateral cooperation, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, Report informs via TASS.
"The decision to expel the Russian diplomat was yet another confirmation of the course of the current Moldovan authorities to dismantle the Russian-Moldovan cooperation, which has a multifaceted nature and deep historical roots. All this is done not without the prompting of Chisinau's European and overseas patrons," she said, adding that Chisinau's actions would not go unanswered by the Russian side.
