The 40th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of GUAM – Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – was held in a videoconference format, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The chairmanship in the organization has now passed to Ukraine.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov took part in the meeting chaired by the acting chairman of GUAM, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Nicolae Popescu.
Georgia was represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, and Ukraine – by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
As a result, the minutes of the current meeting and two decisions were adopted, and Ukraine assumed the rotating chairmanship.
