Taliban use tear gas to disperse women-led protests in Kabul

Taliban used tear gas and fired shots in the air to disperse the protests of Afghan women, who took to the streets in Kabul demanding to ensure equal rights for them, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

The protests are linked to the uncertainties regarding the future of women, who are particularly concerned about their education and employment.

According to a correspondent, one of the activists, Nargis Sadat, was beaten by Talibs. The protest was held on a square close to the presidential palace.
