Ukrainian intelligence: Russian servicemen who committed massacre in Bucha will be sent back to Ukraine to fight

Russian servicemen, who committed a massacre in Bucha, are planned to be sent back to Ukraine again, Report informs, citing the General Intelligence Department of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

"They know what will happen to them here. That is why they are protesting against returning to Ukraine. However, the command forces those fighters to do so, threatening them with a tribunal," the department said.

Those who target the local population in Bucha were the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th Special Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. They are expected to revisit Ukraine in the coming days.

After the withdrawal of Russian troops from Bucha on March 31, numerous war crimes of the Russian forces were revealed in the town – such as the killing of civilians, torture, rape, and looting.

Photos taken by journalists and depicting the bodies of killed civilians in the liberated Bucha have gone viral. The killings were condemned by activists, politicians, and cultural figures in Russia, Ukraine, and other countries. Many reputable publications and experts have described the incident as an act of genocide, and the perpetrators of the massacre have been compared to Nazi Germany's war criminals.
