Poland’s Government Centre for Security said the air attack threat had been lifted and there was no threat to Polish territory, Reuters reported.
Earlier, the center had warned residents in the region to take shelter as Russian strikes targeted Ukraine. Polish fighter jets were also operating in Polish airspace in response to the attacks, according to the authorities.

The Lublin region borders Ukraine and has previously been placed on alert during major Russian attacks on neighboring Ukrainian territory.
