According to public broadcaster RBB, dozens of students gathered early in the morning outside Andreas-Gymnasium in the Friedrichshain district, using rubbish bins to obstruct access to the school, Anadolu Agency reported.
Demonstrators carried signs with slogans including “Stop compulsory military service and education cuts,” “Education not war,” and “Smaller classes,” as well as messages of solidarity with France.

The initiative “School strike against conscription” said the protests focused on demands for greater investment in education and opposition to plans to bring back mandatory military service.
Similar actions took place outside Leibniz-Gymnasium in Kreuzberg, while some students marched near Ellen-Key-Schule.
The demonstrations followed an earlier protest on Monday, when students blocked access to the French Gymnasium in central Berlin to show support for ongoing student protests in France.
