The accident occurred in Saveh County at 4:48 a.m. local time (0118 GMT) as the bus was traveling on the road, Hamid Abreh Dari, an official with Saveh’s emergency medical services, said, Xinhua reported.
He said emergency crew were dispatched to the scene shortly after the accident was reported, along with five ambulances and an ambulance bus.
All the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals, Abreh Dari said, adding that the cause of the accident was under investigation.
