The roundup included the bout between Ummat Jafarov and Nihat Kerimov at the Ased Fighting Championship event in the Azerbaijani capital, according to Idman.Biz.
The fight ended after Jafarov landed a three-strike combination that sent Kerimov to the canvas. Jafarov followed with several more strikes before the referee intervened and stopped the contest.

MMA Fighting highlighted the unusual way Kerimov fell, with the fighter ending up in a cross-legged sitting position on the canvas. Footage of the finish was included in the latest edition of Missed Fists.
The bout took place at Ased Fighting Championship Selection 16 at Ased Arena in Baku on Sept. 27.
The latest Missed Fists roundup also featured several other notable moments from combat sports events around the world.
Among the knockouts highlighted were Tyjani Beztati’s counter-knee finish of Daniel Kolasinski at Levels Fight League 24 and Miguel Soares’ stoppage of Heitor Santos at Martial Arts Championship 17.
The roundup also featured an incident at a Krush event in Tokyo, where Kei’s cornerman slapped the fighter before the bout resumed. Soma Kondo later stopped Kei with a kick.
At Tuff-N-Uff 157, Derek Rayfield stopped Oliver Mekkel eight seconds into their fight.
Jafarov and Kerimov’s bout was included alongside footage from events in Japan, the United States, Brazil, Mexico and other countries.
