The bout, billed as “The Last Walk,” will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, where the 38-year-old Serrano will put her World Boxing Organization (WBO) and World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight titles on the line, Anadolu Agency reported.
Serrano enters the fight with a professional record of 50 wins, four losses and one draw, including 32 knockouts. She is also pursuing the all-time women’s boxing knockout record, which she shares with former American boxer Christy Martin.

“Boxing has been my life and I never could have imagined the journey it would take me and my family on,” Serrano said in a statement.
Reflecting on her career, she highlighted the progress women’s boxing has made, from struggling for recognition at small theater events to headlining major venues and reaching audiences worldwide.
She also expressed pride in helping create opportunities for the next generation of female fighters.
Serrano made history alongside Ireland’s Katie Taylor in 2022 when they became the first women boxers to headline Madison Square Garden in New York.
Their rivalry became one of the defining matchups in women’s boxing, culminating in a trilogy of fights. Taylor won all three encounters, including their third bout in 2025, which she secured by majority decision.
Serrano, who has won world titles across seven weight divisions, is also Puerto Rico’s only undisputed boxing champion. Her planned retirement will bring an end to a career that helped raise the profile of women’s boxing on the global stage.
