“France condemns in the strongest possible terms the occupation by Israeli settlers of several Palestinian homes in the village of Al-Qusra in the West Bank, as well as the violence perpetrated against Palestinian civilians,” the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday, Anadolu Agency reported.
Paris urged Israeli authorities to investigate the incidents and “arrest and bring to justice the perpetrators of these acts.”

The ministry said violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians has been increasing across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
“France calls on the Israeli authorities to take all necessary measures to protect the Palestinian civilian population,” the statement said, stressing that Israel has obligations under international law.
France also reiterated its opposition to Israeli settlement policies, warning that continued settlement expansion threatens prospects for a two-state solution and contributes to worsening tensions in the region.
The latest statement comes amid heightened international concern over violence and displacement in the occupied West Bank.
Attacks targeting Palestinians and their property have increased since Israel launched its war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, according to Palestinian officials and international organizations.
The escalation has fueled concerns over the seizure of Palestinian land and homes, displacement of residents and further deterioration of security across the West Bank.
