Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova said the 10 Russian prisoners were transferred on Aug. 24 in exchange for 10 Ukrainian servicemen, Anadolu Agency reported.
The exchange was carried out through Belarus as part of a humanitarian arrangement, according to Lantratova, who announced the development in a statement on Telegram.

She said the immediate priority was to provide the returning Russian servicemen with medical and other necessary assistance and help them reunite with their families as quickly as possible.
Lantratova also thanked those involved in organizing and carrying out the exchange.
The latest 10-for-10 swap comes less than a week after Russia and Ukraine completed a significantly larger prisoner exchange.
On Aug. 19, the two sides exchanged 103 prisoners each, continuing a series of humanitarian exchanges between Moscow and Kyiv amid the ongoing war.
The latest transfer highlights the continuing role of Belarus as a channel for prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine.
