One facility was hit several times during the week. According to the company’s statement, the attacks were carried out using drones and missiles. Extraction infrastructure has been one of the main targets for the Russian military.
“There is serious damage to equipment and production capacities. Operations at some facilities have been halted, and part of the production volume has been lost,” the statement reads. No company employees were injured in the attacks.
Since the beginning of 2026, Russian forces have attacked Naftogaz group facilities 293 times. The company reports that the intensity of attacks has more than doubled compared to previous years. The proximity of the front lines to Kharkiv and Poltava regions has created major risks for Ukraine’s gas production, as the flight time for drones and missiles is extremely short.
