SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Péter Szijjártó, Head of External Relations and New Business Development at BYD, in Baku on August 4.
During the meeting, SOCAR representatives briefed the BYD delegation on the company’s green energy agenda and renewable energy projects being implemented with its partners.

The two sides discussed potential cooperation in integrating renewable energy technologies into industrial processes, deploying advanced technological solutions and pursuing other areas of mutual interest.
The talks come as SOCAR expands its focus on renewable energy and green technologies alongside its traditional oil and gas operations.
The meeting could open the door to further cooperation between the Azerbaijani energy company and BYD in applying new technologies to industrial and energy projects.
