The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the target near Dokuchaievsk was hit as part of a strategic campaign to degrade Russia’s offensive capabilities, News.Az reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
While the exact extent of the damage at the training ground is still being evaluated, the multi-pronged assault successfully crippled several other key installations:
***
Drone command centers: Precise strikes knocked out Russian drone control points near Krysanove in the Belgorod region and Pershotravneve in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Troop concentrations: Heavy strikes targeted Russian personnel deployments in Horlivka (Donetsk) and Karyzh in Russia’s Kursk region.
Naval logistics crippled: In the Sea of Azov, Ukrainian forces carried out an expansive raid targeting the Kremlin’s maritime supply chain, damaging 21 Russian shadow fleet oil tankers, four tugboats, two cargo ships, and a dredger.
Alongside the latest combat updates, Ukraine released newly verified damage assessments from its ongoing long-range campaign inside Russian territory. The strategic economic toll includes a June strike on the Titan-Barrikady production center in Volgograd that inflicted an estimated $105 million in direct damage, as well as recent direct hits causing massive fires and pipeline destruction at major oil refineries in Yaroslavl, Nizhnekamsk, and Krasnodar Krai.
