The National Resistance Forces said its air defenses intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone during the attacks, Anadolu Agency reported.
In a statement carried by the 2 December news agency, the government-aligned group said the Houthi strikes began Tuesday morning and that its forces responded to the incoming attacks.

“The Houthi attacks failed to achieve their military objectives,” the group said, without providing further details.
Authorities were assessing the impact of the strikes and the extent of any damage, the statement added.
The latest attacks come amid growing concerns that Yemen could slide back into a broader conflict after years of relative calm.
Yemen has experienced a significant lull in fighting since April 2022, following years of war between government forces backed by a Saudi-led coalition and the Houthis, who seized Sanaa and large parts of the country in 2014.
The conflict has left Yemen deeply divided, with the internationally recognized government and the Houthi movement controlling different parts of the country.
The Houthis have also become increasingly involved in wider regional tensions since late 2023, after Israel’s war in Gaza began. The group has launched attacks targeting Israel and commercial shipping in the Red Sea, saying the actions are linked to the Gaza conflict.
The renewed violence in Yemen has raised fears that the fragile period of reduced fighting could come to an end and that the country could once again face a full-scale escalation.
