The UN migration agency said its field teams estimated that 354 households fled several villages in the Wad al-Mahi locality on Monday, Anadolu Agency reported.
Those affected came from villages including Amiri, Jabal Nimr, Abu Qaddaf, Bashkarkat, Ab Jankour, Makla, Manqita, Jabal al-Nou, Mezna and Manshilang. The displaced people headed to the Al-Rosaires locality in Blue Nile state, according to the IOM.

The latest figures bring the total number of people displaced from villages in Wad al-Mahi over three days to 5,525, representing 1,105 households.
The IOM said 955 people from 191 households fled several villages on Sunday, while another 2,800 people from 560 households were displaced from 10 villages on Saturday, with worsening security cited as the reason.
The latest displacement comes as military activity intensifies in Blue Nile state, where the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its allied Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North have launched attacks in several areas.
The IOM reported on Sept. 13 that 99,277 people from 19,497 households had been displaced across Blue Nile state between Jan. 11 and Aug. 23.
Sudan has been gripped by a devastating conflict between the army and the RSF since April 2023, when a dispute over plans to integrate the two forces into a unified military escalated into war.
The conflict has killed tens of thousands of people and displaced around 13 million, creating one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises.
