The Alaska Earthquake Center has specified that, after the main tremor, around a dozen aftershocks have been detected, of which at least three have exceeded magnitude 4 on the open Richter scale.
On the other hand, the Pacific Tsunami Center has indicated that, for now, it is not considered necessary to activate warnings or alerts for tsunami risk.
