Yemeni Information Minister Moammar al-Eryani said in a social media post that “the missiles fell 500 metres [1,640 feet] from [an] aircraft and about 100 metres [350 feet] from the centre of the runway,” Al Jazeera reported.

Al-Eryani said a Yemenia Airways flight heading to Cairo, Egypt “was preparing for takeoff when the terrorist Houthi militia targeted the airport”.
He added that passengers and crew were safe following the attack.
