“We condemn this latest dangerous act,” Sandu said in a post on X, stating that the drone had violated Moldovan airspace, Anadolu Agency reported.
Moldova’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the alleged airspace violation after a drone carrying explosives landed in the village of Chistelnita, approximately 100 meters from a residential home.

The ministry described the incident as a serious violation of Moldova’s sovereignty and security, warning that it posed a direct threat to the safety of local residents.
“Such actions are unacceptable and demonstrate, once again, the risks stemming from the Russian Federation’s war of aggression against Ukraine,” the ministry said.
It called on Moscow to stop actions that could endanger regional security and human lives.
Russia had not commented on Moldova’s statements at the time of publication.
