The agreements include a new package of support for Ukraine and additional arrangements designed to expand opportunities for joint projects.
Ukraine and Finland also agreed to make greater use of Finland’s satellite capabilities, which Zelenskyy said are important for Ukraine’s defense and resilience. The cooperation involves Finnish companies Nokia and ICEYE, although the president did not disclose further details of the arrangements.
The agreements also provide for additional support for Ukraine’s logistics and energy sectors, which remain key targets of Russian attacks. Zelenskyy highlighted plans to increase the number of locomotives available to Ukraine, provide more energy equipment, and allocate funding to protect energy infrastructure.
The latest agreements deepen Ukrainian-Finnish cooperation as Kyiv works to strengthen its defense capabilities, maintain transport and energy operations, and prepare critical infrastructure to withstand continued Russian attacks.
