The groups, identified as “Noname057(16)” and “Z-Pentest,” reportedly made the claim in a social media post reviewed by the broadcaster, Anadolu Agency reported.
“We simply exploited the integrated systems,” the groups said, warning that their reach extended to water supply networks, power plants, industrial facilities and food storage sites.

They also claimed to have dealt a “devastating blow” to equipment produced by Danish engineering company Danfoss and its refrigeration technology brand Dixell.
“Similar incidents have affected hundreds of locations across Europe, yet they have not learned from their mistakes,” the groups said, adding that they had demonstrated what they described as the cost of Western digital maturity.
The claims follow suspected cyberattacks on refrigeration systems on Monday that affected food businesses in several European countries, resulting in food losses and prompting a criminal investigation in Belgium.
The groups’ claims have not been independently verified.
