Bayramov made the remarks during the OIC Coordination Meeting, where he also congratulated incoming OIC Secretary-General Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, AZERTAC reported.
The Azerbaijani minister stressed the importance of solidarity among OIC member states in addressing rising Islamophobia and discrimination against Muslim communities around the world.

Bayramov also reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s support for Palestine’s statehood and expressed concern over the escalation of military conflicts in various parts of the region.
He called for stronger diplomatic efforts and coordinated action by OIC member states to counter discrimination and violence targeting Muslims globally.
During the meeting, Bayramov also outlined institutional preparations for Azerbaijan’s hosting of the OIC Summit in 2027.
