The Da Han, also referred to as the BYD Great Han, is the latest addition to the automaker’s Dynasty series and is expected to launch soon in China after appearing in government regulatory filings and undergoing public road testing, News.Az reports, citing CNC.
The sedan features a sleek fastback-inspired design with silver-finished roof pillars, slim LED headlights connected by BYD’s signature “Dragon Whiskers” light bar, semi-hidden door handles, 21-inch alloy wheels, and a full-width rear light strip. It is also equipped with BYD’s DiPilot 5.0 advanced driver-assistance system, including a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and cameras integrated into the front fenders.

Measuring 5,256 mm (207 inches) long with a 3,130 mm (123-inch) wheelbase, the Da Han is slightly longer than the standard Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The all-electric version comes standard with a 102.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The rear-wheel-drive variant produces 496 horsepower and offers a claimed CLTC driving range of 1,008 km. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive version delivers a combined 764 horsepower, with a reduced claimed range of 880 km (547 miles).
BYD also plans to offer a plug-in hybrid (DM-i) version powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a 268-horsepower electric motor. The hybrid model uses a 54.5 kWh LFP battery and is claimed to provide up to 470 km (292 miles) of all-electric driving under the CLTC cycle.
The Da Han will serve as BYD’s flagship Dynasty sedan as the Chinese automaker continues expanding its premium lineup and competing in the luxury electric vehicle segment.
