The couple revealed the milestone on Tuesday with a photo of Herbert’s proposal, captioning the post simply: “Meet my fiancé,” News.Az reports, citing ESPN.
Herbert and Beer were first linked in August 2025 after they were spotted together on the set of one of Beer’s music videos, fueling speculation about their relationship.

The romance became more public during the 2025 NFL season when Beer attended several Chargers games. The couple appeared to confirm their relationship after sharing a kiss on the sidelines before Los Angeles’ Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders.
They were later seen together at a Los Angeles Dodgers World Series game and courtside at Los Angeles Lakers games.
Earlier this year, Herbert appeared in the music video for Beer’s song “lovergirl,” released as part of her album locket deluxe.
During the NFL offseason, Herbert also missed part of the Chargers’ voluntary offseason program to support Beer while she was on tour. Head coach Jim Harbaugh publicly backed the decision, saying he was happy the quarterback was supporting his girlfriend.
The engagement announcement quickly drew widespread attention online, with the couple’s Instagram post receiving more than 800,000 likes within its first hour, while fans, fellow athletes and the NFL offered congratulations.
