General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for Iran’s army, said the situation was “chaotic and undesirable” for the United States, according to Iranian state television, News.Az reports, citing Al Jazeera.
“The situation is chaotic and undesirable for America,” Shekarchi said, arguing that Washington had failed to accomplish its goals “in the Strait of Hormuz and in weakening Iran.”

He also claimed the United States was searching for a “new strategy” after falling short of its objectives.
Shekarchi further asserted that any potential US withdrawal from the conflict would be “conditional on the Zionists’ permission,” an apparent reference to Israel, suggesting Washington’s decisions remained closely tied to its ally.
The remarks come amid continued tensions in and around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route that has remained at the center of regional security concerns and diplomatic efforts in recent months.
