Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares confirmed Madrid’s unwavering support during an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Ireland, UATV English reported.

“We’ve been doing this for a long time already and will continue to do so,” Albares emphasized.
The statement came amid calls from Kyiv to increase supplies of ammunition for air defense systems. These are needed, in particular, to intercept Russian ballistic missiles.
It should be noted that Spain’s foreign minister also gave assurances about expanding support during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on September 2. Albares specifically confirmed an increase in missile delivery volumes.
